Why artists love large models!

I have drawn from the nude model almost every week since I first started in art college. And one thing I, and many other artists love, is drawing a large model. There is something about how wonderful the forms are, how the light and shadows play across those forms, that is just wonderful to draw.

I, like most artists probably, have my favourite models and also there are models that I just cant seem to produce any magic from. But most artists I know who draw Georgina….usually produce some wonderful work!

Here are a few drawings from this weeks drawing session. They are 8-10 min poses and I have used liquid pencil (my new favourite thing!) on TerraSkin stone paper.
